Result of a partnership between the ABIMAQ – Brazilian Association of Machines & Equipment Manufacturers and Apex-Brazil – Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, Brazil Machinery Solutions Program focuses on the promotion of Brazilian exports of machinery and equipment, as well as the strengthening of Brazil’s image as a manufacturer of mechanical capital goods. Focusing on the markets of South Africa, Angola, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, United States, India and Russia, and Central America, the Program performs various actions aimed at bringing Brazilian business community to such markets with the purpose of showing them the quality and the differentials of machinery and equipment from Brazil. They dot only draw attention for their quality, but also for their inventivity, that is, they meet the actual demands of customers, adapting to the needs and peculiarities of each one
The Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Association (ABIMAQ) was founded in 1975 with the goal of acting in for the strengthening of the domestic industry by mobilizing the sector, performing actions with the political and economic spheres, stimulating trade and international cooperation and contributing to enhance their performance in terms of technology, human resources training and management modernization. Structured nationwide with 10 regional offices across the country, ABIMAQ System currently represents nearly 6,500 companies from different segments of manufacturers of mechanical capital goods, whose performance has a direct impact on other domestic productive sectors. Over and above the institutional representation of industry, ABIMAQ has professional management and its activities aimed at generating business opportunities for its members, acting as a development agency in the domestic machinery and equipment industry.
The mission of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil) is to promote exports of Brazilian products and services, contribute to the internationalization of Brazilian companies and attract foreign direct investment to Brazil. The Agency organizes varied trade promotion activities such as prospective and trade missions, business meetings, participatios of Brazilian companies in major internacional fairs ans visits by foreing buyers and opinion makers to learn about the Brazilian productive structure. Apex-Brazil produces business and competitive intelligence studies aimed at guiding its strategic operation and decisions of domestic companies as to exports to international markets. Acting in the coordination of efforts to attract foreign direct investiment (FDI) to the country, the Agency works to identify business opportunities and promote strstegic event, ensuring support to foreing investors throughout the process in Brazil.
